Automation of Administrative Tasks

Thanks to this automated approach, the municipality has been able to achieve a significant reduction in administrative work. The system automatically records objections and sends acknowledgments and assessment reports to the relevant WOZ offices. Furthermore, it is now possible to easily upload additional documents, such as justifications, appraisal reports, and rulings.

Bulk Processing of Objections

One of the most notable features of the system is the ability to submit objections for hearings of different addresses in bulk via an Excel file. Despite the large number of addresses that can be included in these files, the robot is capable of creating individual split files and automatically uploading them. If an objection has already been recorded or if the objection concerns multiple addresses, this is logged and falls into the exceptions. Objections from the eight largest professional bureaus that submit hundreds of objections on behalf of clients at once are also handled efficiently in one go.

Time Savings and Efficiency

This prevents the municipality from falling behind and experiencing peak loads for employees who previously had to record them manually. The time savings amount to 5-8 minutes per WOZ objection / additional document, and it concerns approximately 5,000 objections per year.

Continuous Adjustments to RPA

With the knowledge of RPA within the Tax Team, there are also annual requests as processes and systems change. Because digital employees developed with RPA can be quickly and easily adjusted, this is often a matter of days and at most several weeks of turnaround time.
