The topic of discussion was the future of AI and security. The rapid development of ‘Generative AI’ and ‘Machine Learning’ has clearly an enormous impact on security and privacy. The very first edition of the PCC in 2024 will therefore focus on Artificial Intelligence. Kai, specialist in generative AI development, discussed this with Robert Tom, systems engineer at Fortinet.

FERM was started as part of the Port Cyber Resilience Program, with the aim of encouraging collaboration between companies in the port of Rotterdam to increase awareness about cyber risks and become the best digitally secured port in the world. Since January 1, 2021, FERM has been a non-profit foundation.
