Yesterday in Maastricht, together with the City of Amsterdam, we gave a presentation at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) during the event “Revolutionising HR Services: Digital Trends and Innovations from EU to Local Level.”

The gathering offered an in-depth look at the digital transformation of HR services at the European level and the need to digitalize HR processes and systems. Frank Mester (CEO, MvR DW) and Rick Visser (PM RPA, City of Amsterdam) spoke about the City of Amsterdam’s RPA journey, highlighted the strategic importance of adoption and stakeholder management in transforming HR services, and shared their insights on how to empower people with the right tools.

The RPA journey must be implemented carefully and requires the full attention of both C-level leadership and HR. It’s about placing both people and processes at the center to make HR future-proof.
